Disabling V-sync in the options menu should fix the laggy camera movement. Hmmm.I'd seriously recommend giving Dead Space another go. Its one of those games you wish you had your memory wiped and experience playing that game for the first time again. There's a reason why its said to be one of the greatest games of all time. Use augments that match your preferred playstyle. Hack that security door (security or blow it up with a mine (demolitions)?ĭestroy that 3 meters tall robot with a rocket launcher, throw an EMP grenade to it's feet or hack it from a computer and either disable it or turn it against its allies? Sneak behind enemies and take them out with a tazer (or pick them from a distance with a tranqulizer bow) nonlethally (low-tech)? The stealth is very easy in this game. Spend skill points (XP) on pistols/rifles/snipers and go in guns blazing? You're thrown into a huge level and you're given a mission. I would recommend you the original Deus Ex. Unfortunately, I couldn't play Dead Space because I had issues with the cursor/camera being out of sync. Maybe I'll play it again if I can't find anything like SS2. I got hooked on gaming when I played Condemned: Criminal Origins. **By the way, I normally like newer games simply for the fact that I don't have to worry as much about them not running on Windows 7. I like everything about it except I suck at stealth, and I can't play it for long sessions because I feel guilty for killing innocent people. I've enjoyed Deus Ex HR so far, but it disappoints me that I'm always spotted and I have to kill people to make any progress in the game. *For the record, I'm not very good at stealth games. So, anyway, I'm gonna play the games I own, but if you have any suggestions for other games with similar gameplay, please let me know. Since then, I've read that BioShock is its spiritual successor. Is the story anything like SS2? I remember thinking that I'd finish playing it later and I picked up BioShock 2 because it was on sale and I wanted the series. I've already bought and played part of BioShock and Deus Ex: HR Director's Cut. It's so much fun finding/listening to the audiotapes, and exploring based on clues you uncover in addition to being free to roam throughout the levels you've already opened makes for a truly compelling gaming experience. I'm playing SS2 for the first time and I don't want it to end.
